Her consultancy work focuses on Restorative School Leadership and she specializes in training school leaders to build their core competencies in emotional intelligence, communication, and conflict management skills. Without this skill set, leaders will find themselves ill-equipped to successfully tackle initiatives that build strong school cultures and equitable outcomes for students.
Shamar Edwards is also the proud parent of two teenagers and is originally from Los Angeles, though she currently resides in the Bay Area of Northern California. In her free time, you can find her cheering for her hometown Los Angeles Lakers, enjoying music, attending church, and spending time with her family.
